During 2010 I will compile a full listing of Locotracteurs, which may be subject to another STARS publication. These lists are an attempt to show the latest reported location of ‘Y’ Locotracteurs and LOCMA’s. It has been compiled by sightings made on STARS Tours, and by personal sighting reports submitted by members. The compiler of these listings wishes to thank those who have helped in supplying the sightings, and welcomes any contribution, which will help to keep the lists reasonably updated. Any information may be ‘E’ mailed to kassel_jones@btinternet.com

Special thanks this time go to:- Maurice Smith, Ray Jones, Peter Kelly, Brian Redwood, Ken Ashwell and Steve Phillips.

It is by no means complete and up to date, and is published here so that members can obtain an indication of the location or area of operation of specific Shunters they may wish to see. Some of the locations quoted may not be very specific, so members visiting one of these should check not only the station, but also any yard, triage, carriage siding or Sernam etc. that may be nearby.

STARS cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the listings, nor can they guarantee that any specific Shunter will be seen at a listed location.

All changes within the last 3 months are highlighted in YELLOW, those in GREEN require further information from sightings, and those in RED are explained within the LOCMA listing. Each file is in .pdf format which will allow the user to search within the file for specifics.

The Status Key is:- W = Withdrawn, R = Renumbered, C = Cut up, L = LOCMA, S/I= Sold for further use/Industrial, P= Preserved
